Senior Financial Accountant – Part-Time 4 days per week

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Senior Financial Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting senior management in providing accurate and timely financial reporting information to all stakeholders.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work in conjunction with the full time Financial Accounts person (AP, AR, Xero bookkeeping, payroll)
  • Financial Accounts review for all entities
  • Cashflow projections
  • Monitoring of mortgage loan accounts and ensuring their facilities are documented
  • Review and signoff BAS, IAS, PAYG for all entities
  • Quarterly review and distribution of all entities financial statements and distribution to respective shareholders
  • Year-end adjustments of all entities
  • Assist with all financial reporting and analysis duties
  • Reports directly to Financial Director
Qualifications and Skills: 
  • Must be a qualified Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices. 
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB) and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Financial Accounting 
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Strong organisational and time management skills. 
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively. 
  • Property experience essential
