Trust Accountant / Accounts Administrator – Commercial Property Management

Are you an experienced financial / Accounts professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for Property? We are currently seeking a skilled Trust Accountant / Accounts Administrator with ideally a background in Property Management!

You will play a critical role in managing the financial operations for their Property portfolio, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across various functions. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong background in accounts, trust account management, accounts receivable, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations
  • Maintain and reconcile trust accounts, ensuring compliance with trust account regulations and legislation
  • Track and manage all reimbursable leasing costs.
  • Assist with aspects of accounts receivable, including monthly rental invoicing and rental outgoings reconciliations for each lease agreement.
  • General Office Management /Administration duties
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and address any financial queries or issues
Qualifications and Skills:
  • CPA or CA certification desirable
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Trust Accountant or similar role within the real estate industry
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and relevant legislation
  • Work stability across previous work history
  • Experience with trust accounting & Property Management is preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
